  17. I am providing Macintosh support for a fair-sized university (14,000 
  18. students), and am trying to get people set up with a good, free terminal 
  19. program.  All our DOS people are using the DOS version of C-Kermit, with a 
  20. comprehensive set of macros written by our own Systems group, and it works 
  21. quite well.

  23. The Mac version, however, is a different story.  I had (189) running long 
  24. enough to set up and test some basic log-in macros, but now suddenly I can 
  25. no longer get either (189) or (190) to run (keeps crashing in an area that 
  26. Macsbug identifies as "mberto+xxxx", where xxxx is some fairly large hex 
  27. number).  Thinking that maybe this problem is local to my machine, I have 
  28. given a number of people copies of (190), but now they are reporting that it 
  29. crashes on their machine also.  Lots of PowerMac crashes, but I'm on a 
  30. Quadra 660AV running System 7.1.

  32. Is anyone else out there having problems like this with Mac Kermit?  Is 
  33. anyone *NOT* having problems like this with Mac Kermit?  I'd like to compare 
  34. notes with somebody before I file a formal bug report.  Or is there some 
  35. known problems running Mac Kermit under System 7.1 and later?
